• Trip Logging Data: Information you enter about your pilotage trips, including dates, routes, vessel names, and related details
• Profile Information: Optional information such as profile photos, vessel information, and other details you choose to provide
• Communications: When you contact us for support, we collect the contents of your message and any additional information you provide

Information Collected Automatically:

• Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and time spent in the application
• Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address
• Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and collect usage information

Payment Information:

Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. and PayHere. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full credit card numbers or banking information. Stripe and PayHere collect and process payment information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We receive only limited information necessary for billing purposes, such as subscription status and payment confirmation.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Process your subscription payments and send billing notifications
• Generate PDF reports of your trip data
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Send you service-related announcements and updates

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

Service Providers:

• Glide Apps: The Service is hosted on Glide's platform. Glide may have access to your data as necessary to provide hosting and infrastructure services
• Stripe and PayHere: We share limited information with our payment processors to facilitate subscription billing
• PDFMonkey: We use PDFMonkey to generate PDF reports. Trip data is transmitted to PDFMonkey only when you request a PDF report
• Make.com: We use Make.com for workflow automation to process PDF generation requests

Legal Requirements:

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or subpoena), or if we believe disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with legal obligations
• Protect and defend our rights or property
• Prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
• Protect the personal safety of users or the public

Business Transfers:

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will provide notice before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
